What went on this roof
With IKO Dynasty, the detail that matters most is the ArmourZone nailing strip: a wider, reinforced band where the nails go, so fasteners land where they hold best. Every one of our replacements is a system, not just shingles. On this roof, from the deck up:
- A full layer of synthetic underlayment. It’s the backup water barrier under the shingles, and it holds up to foot traffic and wind far better than paper felt.
