About ProVia HeartTech® Siding
HeartTech has been ProVia’s top-selling siding for close to three decades, and it is the line we reach for most when a homeowner wants a premium, heavy panel without stepping up to foam-backed siding. Each panel is .044″ thick with an oak woodgrain, a tighter and more refined grain than ProVia’s cedar lines.
HeartTech is made in four profiles: Double 4″ and Double 5″ lap, and Double 4″ and Double 5″ Dutch lap. Any of them can clad a whole house on its own, or mix with ProVia board and batten, Harbor Mill shake or manufactured stone for contrast. The panel has a full 5/8″ projection, an installer-friendly lock and a double-ply nailing hem, and ProVia backs it with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
HeartTech is offered in all 27 ProVia colors. Pick a swatch and the selector up top shows the close-up and a home finished in that color.

HeartTech Siding Questions
What is the difference between oak grain and cedar grain siding?
Oak grain is finer and more even, so the wall looks tailored. Cedar grain is coarser and more rustic. HeartTech is ProVia’s oak-grain line; CedarMAX, Cedar Peaks and Willowbrook use cedar grains.
Should I choose a 4″ or 5″ exposure?
A 4″ exposure means more, narrower courses, which suits Colonials, Cape Cods and smaller wall areas. A 5″ exposure looks cleaner and more contemporary on a big two-story wall.
How does HeartTech compare to Willowbrook?
HeartTech is thicker (.044″ vs .042″), has a deeper 5/8″ projection and comes in the full 27-color palette. Willowbrook is the value line with 19 colors.
Will dark HeartTech colors fade in the sun?
HeartTech uses ProVia’s Tri-Pigment Reflective Technology and Color Keeper anti-fade protection, which are designed to hold deep colors and reflect heat from the wall.
