About ProVia Traditional™ Siding
Traditional is ProVia’s line for houses that want restraint: crisp lines and understated profiles that suit Colonials, Cape Cods, Federal-style brick homes and farmhouses. It is the closest thing in vinyl to the painted wood siding many older Midwest neighborhoods were built with.
There are two profiles. The Single 6.5″ Beaded panel has a rounded bead along each course and a cedar woodgrain, a period detail that throws a fine shadow line. The Single 8″ Clapboard has a wide, flat matte face for a clean, painted-board look. Both are built on ProVia’s Super Polymer formulation with Tri-Pigment Reflective Technology, a weather barrier, UV blocker and fade protection.
The 6.5″ Beaded profile comes in 19 colors across the Lifestyle and Signature Collections; the 8″ Clapboard comes in White. Choose a swatch below to preview it.

Traditional Siding Questions
What is beaded vinyl siding?
Each course has a small rounded bead along its bottom edge, copying a historic wood-siding detail. It adds a fine shadow line and suits older and traditional homes.
What is the difference between a single and a double profile?
A single profile shows one board per panel, so the wall reads like individual boards. A double shows two courses per panel and is more common on newer homes.
Why choose a matte finish?
Matte siding has very little sheen, so it looks like painted wood rather than plastic, especially in strong afternoon sun.
Can Traditional be mixed with other ProVia products?
Yes. It pairs well with board and batten in gables and with ProVia manufactured stone on foundations and porches.
